Massage for Relaxation and Wellbeing

Have you ever wanted to help friends, family and others to unwind and relax?  Our industry accredited Certificate in Relaxation  Massage is designed for people who want to establish a business using massage based on aromatherapy and energy healing.  Upgrade to the government accredited Certificate IV in Massage can be arranged through a Registered Training Organisation if required.  Our course covers relaxation massage for pampering or de-stressing, and therapeutic massage which enables you to work safely with chronic conditions, pregnancy, babies or elderly people.

Or if you just want to work with family and friends you can focus on learning the practical side of massage and aromatherapy as well as basic anatomy and physiology, and how to communicate effectively with a client before and during a treatment.

How is the course structured?

The course includes a balance of practical work and underlying theory.  The massage components are taught in four weekends over four months, supported by additional supervised practice.   Other health care management modules are completed by home study with the support of a facilitator.  You will be given practical assignments and case studies in all subjects to deepen your knowledge and understanding.

As well as relaxation and therapeutic massage, you can learn basic muscle testing skills for finding the best aromatherapy oils to support your client, testing for flower or gem essences and balancing the chakras using crystals or healing energy.  The essential oils used in aromatherapy can be beneficial for a wide range of illnesses and injuries, and you will have access to a wide range of resources to support your learning.
