Do you still offer the Diploma of Kinesiology?
Yes, we offer our own industry-accredited Diploma package which can be upgraded to HLT52415 Diploma of Kinesiology through a suitable RTO if you wish. The cost of our industry-accredited package is significantly less than the government accredited Diploma; we will be happy to discuss costs with you.
Is it true that the Certificate IV in Kinesiology has been withdrawn?
Yes, the Certificate IV in Kinesiology was withdrawn in December 2015, and is now included in the new HLT52415 Diploma of Kinesiology. HLT42807 and HLT42812 are still valid although additional study will be necessary if you want to enrol in the new Diploma as most units have been upgraded. ACVH offers cost-effective upgrades, and can arrange a Statement of Attainment through a suitable RTO.
The other great news is that we have registered our own government accredited Certificate IV in Energy Healing Kinesiology, as well as industry-accredited Practitioner certificate and Advanced Practitioner certificates in Kinesiology. All of these options meet the requirements for practitioner registration with the Kinesiology associations. You may study the government accredited qualification 10410NAT through a suitable RTO with ACVH co-ordinating your studies, or take the more cost-effective industry-accredited option with ACVH.

No, the Certificate IV in Kinesiology is no longer a prerequisite for the Diploma course, as it was withdrawn in December 2015.

You will also be eligible for professional indemnity insurance once you have completed the Certificate IV in Kinesiology or our ACVH equivalent, so you can start earning an income while you study your Diploma.
Am I able to do one or two of the home study units? How much would that cost?
Yes you can. The cost varies from one unit to another, and it’s a little more than our packaged price because we save administration time on packaged enrolments. If you would like an accurate cost please contact us and our staff will be happy to help.
What happens if I have already done similar subjects elsewhere?
We will be happy to help you identify whether your past training and experience meets the requirements for Recognition of Prior Learning in selected units. Please note that the effort involved in preparing your RPL portfolio can be time-consuming, and depending on your work experience, it may be worth enrolling in the subject. Check out our RPL Page.
Am I eligible for government funding?
We can arrange enrolment with an RTO authorised to offer government funding to eligible students. If you live in Victoria, are an Australian or NZ resident, and do not have an equivalent or higher qualification to the course you wish to enrol in, you may be eligible.
